DUSTY OLD HARD DRIVE FIND

You know the greatest part about being photographer other than shooting and meeting people that rock?

The best part is that I get to evolve, I get to grow and learn and get better. It’s amazing. It really is.

Today I looked at my very first external hard drive and wondered what’s in there. I started looking at one of the weddings I shot and as much as I saw that I’ve grown quite a bit as a photographer (aka I’ve gotten better), I wasn’t as clueless as I thought I was when I first started. I found a ton of images I’d be proud to show today and therefore, I’m sharing this one that back then I would have not even thought of being good image and today..well today I think it’s a solid image. Funny how hard I was on myself when I first started. I should have been kinder and more encouraging, really. But I guess when it comes to creative people, you always tend to be your own biggest competition.

I just wanted to share it with you guys. (I second-shot this wedding for a talented Louisville photographer, Robert Glasnovic).
